| Wine Tasting at Domaine la Grangette, Castelnau de Guers Take the Pomerol road out of Marseillan and head north through the vineyards (heaven). After about 10 minutes, in the centre of Pomerol turn left and then immediately right on to the Pezenas road. After 7 and a half minutes :) look for the sign for La Grangette on the right. Yes, this one....

About
10 yards after this sign head for the building you can see in
the middle of the picture. Park anywhere and head into the central
courtyard (at this point toss a coin for "designated driver").
Don't feel intimidated, ring the doorbell and Monsieur Moret will
appear, smiling and helpful and speaking perfect English. Here
is a man in love with his land and his vines, and he will take
you into his cellar and introduce you to the delights of his life!
A more interesting man you will travel a long way to find, he
won't be hurried - wine is a serious business, but there is never
any pressure to buy - only to appreciate (although we never seem
to be able to resist). Monsieur Moret's wines are unique; he is
the only person producing a rose variation of the famous Picpoul
de Pinet, and his "Rouge Franc" based on Cabernet Franc
is probably one of the smoothest red wines in the region.
